Meet the Lane County Prevention Team

C.A. Baskerville

Lindsey Adkisson, MPA

Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) Coordinator, Prevention Specialist

Contact: Lindsey.Adkisson@co.lane.or.us | 541.682.8772

Lindsey is the newest addition to the Prevention Team and is coordinating the development of the Lane County Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). Through policy-based and environmental strategies, the “SPF” will focus on reducing rates of high-risk drinking among 18-25 year olds.

Lindsey got her start in prevention as an intern with Lane County Prevention Program while she was doing her graduate coursework at the UO (quack). She has a strong passion for building healthy, thriving communities from the ground-up and has worked on a variety of health and social issues both in the US and abroad. Her area of interest is in community organizing, health policy, rural development, and underage and high-risk drinking.

Oregonian by blood but a drifter by nature, Lindsey spends her free time exploring the nooks and crannies of our beautiful state (and beyond) by foot, bike, water, and road. Her other hobbies include trying to keep up with the local music scene, playing ultimate frisbee, crafting with her cat, and attempting gardening with an enthusiastic, but not-so-green, thumb.
