The Center provides individual counseling for low income adults in Lane County. Clients are screened on the phone and an intake evaluation is scheduled if the client meets our guidelines. Offers low-cost, non-time limited, mental health services to adults in Lane County. Counseling staff consists of volunteer professionals from the community and master level graduate students. Individual counseling for emotional concerns, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and adjustment problems. Phone hours: 9am-3pm, Monday-Thursday. Counseling appointment times are between 8:30-4:30. Offer Nurturing Parent, Anger Management Classes for Parents. |

EC CARES provides early intervention and early childhood special education services to infants, toddlers and preschool children in Lane County. Over 1000 children who have developmental delays or disabilities are served each year. Educational services include home visits, parent-toddler groups, specialized preschools, consultation to children in community preschools or speech therapy. Staff who work for EC CARES have teaching licenses or state authorization to teach young children. They are specialists in early intervention/early childhood special education, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavior and autism. |
